TATIANA CARBALLO THERAPY

What if understanding yourself is the beginning of change?
Hi, I'm Tatiana
I believe therapy is about having a space where you can slow down, get curious, and better understand yourself without judgment.
My path to becoming a therapist wasn't exactly straightforward. I started my career in nursing, an experience that taught me a lot about people, connection, and what can happen when we spend so much time caring for everyone else.
A lot of my work centers on ADHD - in children, teens, and adults, including many women and men who weren't diagnosed until later in life, after years of being told it was anxiety, or that they were just "too sensitive" or "not trying hard enough". ADHD doesn't look the same in everyone, and I don't expect it to. I meet you, your child, where you actually are - not where a textbooks says ADHD should look.
I also know that when you're parenting, understanding yourself and understanding your child can sometimes become intertwined. Sometimes the work is about your own story. Sometimes it's about finding a different way to understand your child. And sometimes, it's both - and my hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can make sense of it, and feel more at home in who you are.
